OMG....It's Already 3 months

It's so hard to believe that only a short 3 months ago I was begging for Miss Lexie to come, she had her own ideas as to when she wanted to come into this world.  George and I have been so blessed to have her in our life!  She may look alot like her daddy but she definitely has the temperment of her mommy.

I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband who allows me to stay at home with our little girl.  Right now my days are all about Lexie, so much for being able to enjoy 20 min showers, to go to the gym whenever I want, or even clean the house.  Our days start around 5 or 6am as Lexie gets her medicine for her nasty GERD.  The stuff smells like Jagermeister...but does not taste like it.  Then I put her down on her activity mat so that she can practice rolling around from her back to her belly.  She will even talk to me with coos and babbles if she is up to it but mostly she just lies there staring at the flashing light and batting at the hanging objects.  This does not last for long until she is bored and fed up....she has the lungs of a grown up I swear.  At this point I feed her a bottle and try to get her down for a nap but that usually doesn't happen without a fight.  Part of the reason I think she has GERD as well as major gas bubbles is because she seriously chugs her bottle like she is in a drinking contest or something.  I have been taking her to the chiropractor for the past couple of weeks to help with her GERD.  I was a little skeptical at first but I think that it is helping along with the Nap Nanny (incline wedge) that I ordered and I also changed her formula.

The afternoon is spent with more playing on the activity mat and then running any errands that we can get in before she has a major meltdown, as naps are still not on her agenda whether they are needed or not.  Every once in awhile we will go and see Daddy over his lunch hour at his office and then we have to make our rounds to make sure Lexie sees everyone.  As the evening nears, playing is out of the question, she wants to be walked around facing forward so that she can see everything that is going on.  It is quite comical at times when I am trying to do a million things like make dinner so that we can eat once George is home and she is protesting that she not be put down.  This is where the Bumbo comes in,  she is a good little sitter already so I just put her in there so my hands are free.  Once dinner is finished, it is time to take our nightly bath.  Lexie loves her baths and then her last bottle for the evening.  I read her a book and then it is time for bed.  Cuddling with her is the best part of my day!
